  • Setting up and maintaining a FluxNode requires a basic level of technical knowledge, but you don't need any experience with Linux. We will guide you through the entire process step-by-step

  • Make sure your hardware and internet speeds meet the minimum requirements for a FluxNode by referring to the full requirements available on our website

  • Hosting from home? You will need a good quality router with UPnP support and a stable internet connection that meets the minimum upload and download bandwidth requirements for the tier of node you wish to run. While routers provided by your ISP may work, they can encounter issues, so it's recommended that you purchase a high-quality router. A list of community-tested routers is provided

  • Want to rent a server instead? A list of community-tested hosting companies for each FluxNode tier is available

  • If you're unsure if your hardware will meet the minimum requirements, or you'd like to test the setup process before making an investment, you can use the TestNet. You can find detailed instructions for TestNet on our in the #testnet-instructions channel

  • If you decide running a node isn't for you there are other options available. You can use a to set up and maintain your node while still retaining control over your Flux, which you can withdraw at any time. You can also stake your Flux on a with just a and some Flux. and exchanges also offer a staking facility.
